Carroll R. Mason

Carroll R. Mason, age 73, of Gratiot Ohio, died at 12:54 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the Genesis Morrison House and Palliative Care. He was born February 2, 1931, in Gratiot the son of Evelyn A. Kreager Mason of Gratiot and the late Clayton N. Mason. Mr. Mason was a retired Journeyman Sheet Metal worker at Owens Corning in Newark Ohio and retired farmer. He also worked for many years at the George P. Frueh Co. He was a member of the Ohio Flying Farmers and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Marguerite Sikora Mason (Married March 3, 1963) of the home, his mother Evelyn A. Kreager Mason of Gratiot, one sister, Frances (Robert) Olds of Edgewater FL.,one niece, two nephews, four aunts and one uncle. Friends may call 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the Poplar Fork Cemetery, Gratiot, Ohio with Rev. Gary C. Hardy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
