Cathy J. Nicholas

Cathy J. Nicholas, 51, of Zanesville , died at 9:15 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born August 27, 1954 in Cambridge a daughter of the late Daniel and Letha Lucille Gay Bennett. She attended Maranatha Bible Church was an aide at Adams Lane Care Center and volunteered at Adams Lane Care Center and Beckett House. Surviving are her loving husband, Ira "Nick" Nicholas, whom she married June 16, 1990 of the home, two sons, Chris (Beverly) Duncan of Providence, KY and Rusty (Tiffany) Duncan of Zanesville, four step-sons, Robert Nicholas of Paducah, KY., Rocky Nicholas and Randy Nicholas both of Zanesville and Ronnie (Shannon) Nicholas of Hilliard, four grandchildren, Daniel and Peyton Duncan and Kamie and Kai Duncan, five step-grandchildren, Ivie, Sadie, Shane, Adam, Justin, and Christen, two step-great grandsons, Seth and Camron, three sisters, Peggy (John) Zinkand of Fremont, Gay Vandenbark of Zanesville and Dee (Bob) Miller of Reynoldsburg. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the funeral home with Pastor L. Dale McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice.
