Chad Michael Frick, 30, of Cleveland, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Genesis Bethesda Hospital. He was born March 10, 1977, in Zanesville, a son of David F. Sr. and Elva J. Stiers Frick of Zanesville. Chad graduated from West Muskingum High School Class of 1995, was an Underground Cable TV Technician Sub Contractor for Time Warner Cable and a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. He was a cartoonist, who loved to draw, snowboard, hiking, rock climbing and he loved his son. Surviving in addition to his parents, are a son, Alexander Michael Halkovics of Cleveland; a child on the way; two brothers, Matthew David (Marcy Edwards) Frick and David Frederick Jr. (Sandra) Frick, both of Zanesville; his girlfriend and the mother of his children, Lisa Halkovics of Cleveland; four aunts, Diane (Duane) Bunker of Zanesville, Jean (Grant) Kearns of Marysville, Helen M. (Dan) Shoemaker of Beverly and Anne (William) Musial of Zephyrhills, Florida; four uncles, Larry (Majanne) Stiers of Munich, Germany, Ken (Vita) Gregory of Barlow, Ohio, Lewis (Cindy) Stiers of Zanesville, and Paul (Linda) Stiers of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; four nieces and nephews, Tyler and Alysa Edwards-Frick, Indy Gantt and Gauge W. Frick; a lifelong friend, Michael Simpkins of Cleveland and a host of other friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Roberta and Lawrence Stiers and paternal grandparents, Frederick and Kathryn Frick. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the funeral home with Dr. Richard Boyer officiating. Following the service, a caring cremation will take place.
