Charles D. Brookover

Charles David Brookover, 57, of Zanesville, died at 6:08 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born June 12, 1952, in Zanesville, a son of the late Kenneth R. and Rosanna J. Robinson Brookover. Charles was an instructor at Zane State College and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was an avid reader and collected coins and stamps. Surviving are a sister, Mary Ann Brookover of Zanesville; five brothers, Alan (Joy) Brookover of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, William (Shelia) Brookover of Willow Spring, North Carolina, John (Kendra) Brookover of Zanesville, Phillip Brookover of Cary, North Carolina and Stephen (Cyndy) Brookover of Toledo; two aunts, Fern Gabriel of South Zanesville and Bernadine Brookover of Tarboro, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Joy French officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
