Charles "Buzz" L. Coble, 92, of Brownsville, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. He was born June 7, 1926 in Licking County, a son of the late Floyd and Fernie Cooperrider Coble. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II and a longtime member of the former Brownsville United Methodist Church. He started his career of sixty four years barbering at Bowmans Barbershop before owning and operating Market Barbering and Styling Shop. Buzz enjoyed gardening, cutting wood, and had a great respect for trees. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty three years, Nancy Brauning Coble whom he married January 8, 1955; two daughters, Leanne (Robert) Fox and Kathy (Kelly Worstall) Coble; two grandchildren, Christopher Fox and Jordan Ted Fox; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Janet Goodman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, James Lee Coble; two brothers, Devon Coble and Ken Coble; and two sisters, Geneva Thomas and Betty Lampton. Family and friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 with Mr. Jeff Iden officiating. He will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Brownsville with full Military Honors accorded to him by the United States Navy in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29.
