Charles F. Doverspike, 94, of Zanesville, died at 12:18 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Adams Lane Care Center. He was born October 2, 1910 at Canton, Ohio a son of the late Charles W. & Gennie Miller Doverspike. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, worked as a salesman for White's Chevrolet, Rittenberger Meats and had worked for Danny's Mobile Homes. Surviving are a daughter, Linda ( Tim ) Wheeler of Zanesville a son, Gene ( Sarah ) Doverspike of Newark, three grandchildren, Timothy Charles Wheeler, Sr., John (Kathy ) Wheeler and Christina Wheeler all of Zanesville, five great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Rosalie Thompson of Zanesville and Katherine Clouse of Columbus. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorna G. Triplett Doverspike, who died September 1, 1995, two brothers, Lee & Wilford Doverspike and a sister, Edna Bonifield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 19, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Baker's Chapel, Zanesville will Dr. Alden Towberman officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Friends may call two hours prior to services at the church. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's or to Parkinson's.
