Charles P. Gee

Charles P. Gee, 87, of Zanesville died at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, June 4, 2017 at his home. He was born January 6, 1930 in Zanesville, a son of the late James William and Gertie Bowen Gee. He retired after 44 years as a truck driver and was a member of Maranatha Bible Church. Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Williams of Zanesville; a daughter-in-law, Debra Gee; five grandchildren, Staci (Cliff) Dowdell Shannon Shropshire , Casi Williams (Robbie) Fritts, Megan Gee and Randi Glass; and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Gee, who died in 1986; a daughter, Charolette Dozer; a son, Randy Gee; a son-in-law, Gary Williams, two grandsons, Chad Williams and Clay Williams; a great granddaughter, Alissa Kay Shropshire; brothers, James Kenneth Gee and Harold Gee and a sister, Grace Marie Wheeler. Friends and family call from 1:00 P.M. till time of service at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Chris Brown officiating.
