Charles R. Jones

CHARLES R. JONES, age 78, of Zanesville, died at 3:15 am Thursday, May 13, 2004 at his residence. He was born March 28, 1926 in Woodsfield Ohio the son of the late W. E. and Mildred Willison Jones.Mr. Jones was a miner at the Muskingum Mines, retiring 1987. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, a Navy Veteran of WW2, a member of the American Legion Post 29, and attended the Woodlawn Ave Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Penrod Jones, (married for 35 yrs), of the home, one son Charles A. (Tony) (Dianna)) Jones of Canal Winchester, one step daughter, Lynda McGlade of Zanesville, three stepsons, James (Marilyn) Mc Glade of Danville, VA., Richard (Mary) Mc Glade of Nashport, and Terrance (Pam) Mc Glade of Newark, two brothers, Bernard Jones of Woodsfield, and Robert Jones of Cameron Ohio, four grandchildren, Christy, Brian, Tyler, and Makalia Jones, one great grandson, Drake Jones, eighteen step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Randall Mc Glade. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 15, 2004 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Evangelist Rodney Stockdale and Evangelist Dale Parsley officiating. No calling hours will be observed. The Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave, Zanesville Ohio entrusted with all arrangements.
