Charles Edward Peyton, 81, of Knoxville, TN, died on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at his Florida home. He was born April 2, 1931, in Zanesville, a son of the late Celestial and Christina Morrison Peyton. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was owner of Peyton Heating & Air Conditioning. He was a 50 year member of Shawnee Lodge #526, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, and Amrou Grotto of #45. Surviving are his beloved wife of 43 years, Nancy Lou Wild Peyton, whom he married October 25, 1969; a daughter Barbara (Erik) Geibig of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, Brenden Geibig, and Matthew and Emma Geibig, all of Knoxville; a niece Ann (Daniel) Kline of Nashport; a nephew Robert (Dorinda) Smith of Newark; two aunts, Emeline Morrison and Francis Gossman; and several cousins. Friends and family may call from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, and also one hour prior to the funeral service. Masonic services will be held at 7:45 P.M. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, by Shawnee Lodge #526. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 17, 2013, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
