Charles W. Price

Charles Wesley Price, 71, of Zanesville, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born March 7, 1938, in Gaysport, a son of the late Delmar and Lucille Imlay Price. Charles was a retired school teacher and principal for the West Muskingum and Tri Valley School Districts. He also worked as a real estate developer and home builder. Charles was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge of Amity #5 F&AM, the National Education Association, and the Ohio Education Association. Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Donna L. Beisser Price, of the home, whom he married February 14, 1960; two daughters, Lisa (Charles) Mahla of Pittsburgh and Kim (Jim) Baich of Dublin; a sister, Evelyn Huston of Newark; a brother, Paul (Beulah) Price of Newark; and 6 grandchildren, Emily, Abbey, and Olivia Mahla, all of Pittsburgh and Anna, Mason and Dawson Baich, all of Dublin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Don, Bob, and Delmar Lee. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Doris Flynn officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
