Charles A. Sheline Jr.

Charles A. "Chuck" Sheline Jr., 89, of Zanesville, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at his home. He was born April 9, 1925, in Minden, WV, a son of the late Charles and Myrtle Lucas Sheline Sr. He retired in 1990 from Mid Atlantic Cannery and was a Baptist by faith. Surviving are a son Gary (Connie) Sheline Sr.; two daughters, Penny (Jeff) Vinsel and Becky (Byron) Wheeler, all of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Theresa Freeman, Gary (Felicia) Sheline Jr., Christopher (Heather) Sheline, Melissa Butler (Jeremy McCellan), and Cody Wheeler; nine great grandchildren, Kalie, Chloe, and Kurt Freeman, Hudson, Haleigha, and Hilana Sheline, Michael Butler, and Jayden and Dylan McCellan; and a sister Dorothy Schulte of Beckley, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Stanley Sheline, whom he married November 30, and who died December 19, 1999; four brothers; and seven sisters. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place and arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
