Cheryl Batteiger, affectionately known as Maw has went home to be with the Lord and her beloved at 8:40 P.M. on December 4, 2016. She was born April 8, 1952, in Zanesville, a daughter of Alyce Demster Kronenbitter and the late Joseph Kronenbitter. She was married to the love of her life, Richard E. Batteiger, on March 6, 1971. They were blessed with forty-three years before Paw passed away. She was a homemaker and caregiver who always made sure her job was done and was definitely underpaid. She enjoyed her grandchildren, Buchanans Auctions, Amish Country, going to the Opera in McConnelsville, Renfro Valley, KY with George. She enjoyed eating at Western Sizzlin Steakhouse, playing solitaire on the computer, playing on her tablet, and Blake Shelton. In addition to her mother she is survived by a son, Richard (Monica) Batteiger; a daughter, Lisa (Donny) Harris; grandchildren, Blake Batteiger, Jacob (Dakota) Batteiger, Jordan Curtis, Kyle Conrad, and Denver Conrad; great-grandchildren, Gunner Jay Batteiger, Benson Cooper Conrad, and Lillyan Joelle Batteiger; a brother John (Becky) Kronenbitter; a sister, Bett (Gary) Price; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Batteiger; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andrew and Sara Batteiger; and children, Toby Lee and Tracy Allen Batteiger.
