Chester (Chet) Sheward, 52, of Zanesville, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at his residence. He was born February 24, 1956, a son of Dorothy Louise Arnett Sheward Ballenger and the late Otis E. Sheward. He was employed as a construction worker and loved the Cleveland Browns and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Surviving are his mother and step father, Dorothy and Martin Ballenger of Zanesville; a daughter, Tina Sheward (Bill Wilson) of Whitehall; a granddaughter, Alexa Wilson of Whitehall; three sisters, Anna (Kenny) Brown of New Lexington, Cynthia (Butch) Hobbs of Portsmouth and Catherine Geenter of Columbus; his furry friend, Buster Dawg and many family and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Edward Sheward; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Annabelle Arnett and paternal grandparents, Clifford and Inez Sheward. No calling hours will be observed. A caring cremation has taken place. A celebration of Chester's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Riverside Park in Zanesville.
