Clair Bruce Ridgway, 75, of Zanesville, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2014, at Oak Harbor, Ohio. He was born April 26, 1939, in Zanesville, a son of the late Charles and Evelyn Bush Ridgway. He was a graduate from Frazeysburg High School, and retired after 30 years as a semi truck driver, having worked for Cook Motor Freight and Yellow Freight. Bruce was a member of Amrou Grotto #45, and the Nashport Lodge F&AM. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Lake Erie, deer hunting, and especially his trips to Lake Erie with his wife and their boat for the past 30 years. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Maxine Hardman Ridgway, whom he married May 16, 1987; six children, Mendy (Doug) Stotts, Christy (Jim) Watson, Jeffrey Ridgway, Julie (David) Burkhart, Marie (Mike) Wisecarver, and Kelly (Vincent) Morrison, all of Zanesville; ten grandchildren, Brittany, Drew, Abbey, Audrey, Courtney, Tyler, Kaelin, Morgan, Mikelle, and Craig; a great grandchild on the way in March; a sister Debra (Jeff) Litt of Mansfield; a brother John Ridgway of Frazeysburg; several nieces and nephews; special friends Mark (Rhonda) Nourse, Jim Paul, and Rex White; and his dogs, Marley and Minka. Friends and family may call from 2:00-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 24, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 25, 2014. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
