Clarence F. (Harry) Bronkar, 85, of South Zanesville, died at 10:56 a.m. Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born October 1, 1920 in Zanesville, the son of the late Clarence L. And Emma Adams Bronkar. Mr. Bronkar was a crane operator at Armco Steel Corp retiring in 1982. He was a member of the St Nicholas Catholic Church, a Marine Veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion Post 29, and played two years of Pro Baseball. Surviving are his wife, Ann Kaczmarek Bronkar, whom he married to for almost 60 years, of the home, two daughters, Lana (Walt) Cannon of Canal Winchester, and Vicki (John) McKay of South Zanesville, two sons, Paul (Nancy Kaser) Bronkar of Corryton Tenn., and Michael (Chris) Bronkar of Westerville, two sisters, Vera Marsh and Grace Johnson, both of Zanesville, twelve grandchildren, Kimberle(Mike) Tackett of Canal Winchester, Krisstopher (Linda Schrader) Cannon of Lithopolis Oh., Kandida (Nic) Ziccardi of Hilliard, Kevan (Stephanie) Cannon of Hilliard, Andrea Endicott of Reynoldsburg, Noah (Stephanie Miller) Bronkar of Columbus, Erin (Clint) Cole of Westerville, Abby ( Brett) Burwell of Sunbury, Beth Bronkar of Westerville, Brad McKay,Brent McKay and Brandi (Michael) Harper, all of Zanesville, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home,1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2005 at St Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Leo Connolly as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt Olive Cemetery. Vigil Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the funeral home. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold military services at the gravesite.
