Clarence E. Deeter

Clarence E. Deeter, 87, of Philo, died at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2006 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born December 21, 1918 in Coolville, the son of the late Henry and Emma Reed Deeter. Clarence was a statistician for General Motors and a World Wat II Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife Vallatta Atword Deeter of the home, three daughters, Shelvia Jean (Virgil) Mullins of Jacksonville FL., Susan (Benjamin) Davis of Fayetteville W. Va., and Lena (Andy) Mullins of Philo, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Kay Deeter, a son, Thomas Edward Deeter and two grandchildren. At Mr. Deeter's request, a caring cremation has taken place. All funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
