Colleen L. Winland

Colleen L. Winland, 70, of Zanesville, passed away at 10:05 a.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017, on what would have been her and Kennys 51st wedding anniversary, at Genesis Hospital. She was born April 10, 1947 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Rex and Mertie Hinkle Bankes. Her greatest joy was being a stay at home wife, mom and grandmother. She enjoyed watching Jack race dirt bikes and having dance parties with Tess. Colleen was a manager of Jafra Makeup, enjoyed gardening, and maintaining the lawn. Surviving are two sons, Andrew Winland of Zanesville and Matt (Jess) Winland of Nashport; two grandchildren, Tess (Joel) Sprouse of Columbus and Jack Tyler Winland of Nashport; a great grandson C.J. Sprouse; two sisters Debbie ONeal and Patti (Pat) Winhoven of Zanesville; a brother-in-law, Floyd Harper of Texas; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Winland who passed away April 11, 2012; a sister, Lynnie Harper; a brother, Jim Bankes; and a brother-in-law, Jim ONeal. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday October 17, 2017 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M.
