Connie Lou Conner

Connie Lou Conner, 66, of Zanesville, died at 4:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1942, in Gratiot, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys Helser Turner. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She was an administrative assistant at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was an avid quilter. Surviving are her husband of 23 years, Ronald L. Conner, whom she married July 27, 1985, of the home; a son, Steven Russell of Zanesville; three daughters, Krysta Hartley of Zanesville, Paula Russell of Columbus and Tammy (Chuck) Rodgers of Roseville; 7 grandchildren, Matthew Crumbaker, Brody Nelson, Lindsay Russell, Collin Bryant, Erycka Adams, Shawna Ditter and Noah Hartley; 5 great grandchildren, Jayce, Abriana, Zander, Kal-El and Lily; three sisters, Carol (Tom) Hammer of Columbus, Ruth (Hobert) Klinger of Junction City and Linda (Larry) Hammond of Somerset; a brother, Richard (Loretta) Turner of Somerset. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Russell; a brother, Robert Turner. A memorial service celebrating Connie's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2008 at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 400 Pleasant Grove Road, Zanesville with Rev. LouAnn Dunlap officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
