Connie L. Stines, 58, of Zanesville, died at 5:35 A.M. on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Cedar Hill Care Center, Zanesville. She was born December 10, 1956, in Zanesville, a daughter of John and Elsie Hittle Carpenter of Zanesville. She had worked as a tool and die maker for United Technologies and Lear Corporation. Connie received an Associate Degree in Business at Zane State. Surviving in addition to her parents are a son, John (Sarah) Stines of Zanesville; three daughters, Heather of New Mexico, Shana (Shane) Bowen of Hopewell, and Holly Stines of Fostoria; a step-daughter Cindy Glass of Mt. Sterling; many grandchildren, including Mykell Bowen, Caden Bowen, Adam Stines and Ella Stines; a step-grandchild Shelbie Glass; one great grandchild; a brother, Robert (Theresa) Carpenter of Zanesville; four sisters, Vicki (Karl) McKenzie of Hopewell, Carol (Bryan) Hoover of Zanesville, Lisa (James) Carter of Zanesville and Barbara Hayes of Zanesville; and special friends Kelly, Danielle and Connie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Carpenter. No calling hours or services will be held per Connie's wishes.
