Creta M. (Anderson) Lowery

Creta M. Gray Lowery, 86, of Gratiot, died at 5:58 A.M. on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born on January 12, 1930, in Roseville, a daughter of the late Calvin and Edythe McCaughey Anderson. She had worked at SEARS, was a 52 year member of the Eastern Star #485, and was a member of Gratiot United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Allen Lowery, of the home; three brothers; five sisters; a son, Jeff (Judy) Gray; grandchildren, Britnay and Brian; three great grandchildren; step children, Jana (Dwayne) Lee, Jean (Mike) Ball and William Lowery; seven step grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren. Friends and family may call from 11:00 until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Matthew Blau and Mr. Jeff Iden officiating. Creta will be laid to rest at Poplar Fork Cemetery, Gratiot.
