Dale D. Phillips

Dale D. Phillips, 68, of Zanesville, died at 11:23 A.M. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Genesis Morrison-House, Zanesville. He was born June 30, 1956, in Zanesville, son of the late Herman Dean and Nancy Ann (Miller) Phillips. Dale was the proud owner and operator of Phillips Meat Processing. He was a member of the Hubbard Masonic Lodge #220 in Adamsville, Ohio, Springfield Lions Club, American Association of Meat Processors, Ohio Association of Meat Processors, and a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Dale served as a Springfield Township Trustee for over thirty years. In his younger years he served as a coach for his children for many youth league sports and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. When Dale wasn’t growing the family business, his hobbies included, spending time on his tractor, working in his orchard, and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. Dale’s family values, work ethic, and faith have been instilled in his family and will continue for generations to come.

He is survived by his wife Roxann (Williams) Phillips; son, Casey (Robin) Phillips; daughter Josie (Dustin) Daniels; grandchildren, Bailey (Michael Morosko) King, Caden (Hannah) Phillips, and Madison Phillips; Isabella Daniels, Charlotte Daniels, and Dean Daniels; great grandchildren, Harper Mohler and one great grandchild on the way; brother, Jimmy Phillips, Cotton (Katie) Phillips; nephews, Chase (Sabrina Rice) Phillips and Jack Phillips; nieces, Chancie (Trevor Millhone) Phillips, and Emma Phillips.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carolyn Sue Phillips.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of Celebration of Life service starting at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at The Meadow Farm Church with Pastor Dean Cole officiating, 6015 Coopermill Road Zanesville, Ohio. A meal will be served following the service in Springer Hall.
