Dale "Hub" A. Roberts

Dale "Hub" A. Roberts, 72, of Zanesville, died at 4:42 P.M. on Sunday, October 7, 2018, under the care of Genesis Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 13, 1946, in Zanesville, a son of the late Carl A. and Beatrice O'Reilly Roberts. He was a United States Navy Veteran, a member of Muskingum Lodge #368 F&AM and Methodist by faith. He was the owner of Y-City Dental Lab for twenty two years and retired as a manager at MPW Body Shop. He was past fire chief at Newton Township Fire Department and a member of CB Radio Club. Dale was a man of many talents, loved old cars, bikes and guns, an artist, and enjoyed sign painting and pin striping. He is survived by his wife, Janet "Cricket" Robbins Roberts; a son, Douglas (Emily) Roberts; two grandsons, Brandon (Erica) and Kyler; a granddaughter, Karley; three sisters, Carla (Mike) Reed, Katie (Delbert) Ross, and Donna (Pat) Rumions; a brother, Larry (Barb) Williamson; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Bullet. A Cremation-With-Care will take place with a Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
