Dallas E. Lockhart

Dallas E. Lockhart, 91, of Newark, died at 1:10 P.M. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 8, 1922, in Shinnston, West Virginia, a son of the late Benjamin and Edith Taylor Lockhart. He was a minister at the Church of Christ, and a U.S. Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Snyder Lockhart, who he married August 11, 1945; a daughter; a son; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Jim Clegg officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Norval Park Church of Christ, 845 Arch Street, Zanesville, OH 43701.
