Daniel G. Kline, 63, of Nashport, died at 2:55 P.M. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at his home. He was born July 23, 1952, in Zanesville, a son of the late Charles F. and Betty Collins Kline. He had worked as a Certified Service Technician for L.A. Emmert Heating and Cooling where he invented a time delay switch for fuel oil furnaces, and was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and had a good appetite. He is survived by his wife Ann W. Smith Kline, whom he married July 3, 1976; a sister Tam (Vincent) Bertke of Zanesville; three brothers, Charles Kline of Duncan Falls, Mike (Becky) Kline of Zanesville, and Terry (Robbin) Kline of Roseville; an aunt Carol Knoll of Cleveland; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 2, 2015, with Father Martin Ralko officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Catholic Church: 925 E Main Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701; or to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society: 1430 Newark Road, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
