Daniel W. Ochoa, 57, of Zanesville, died at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home. He was born August 12, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, a son of Antionette (Saccoia) Ochoa and the late Robert Ochoa, Sr. He was a United States Navy and Army Veteran and an electrician. He enjoyed camping, going to the casino to play the slot machines, and lottery tickets. Daniel’s life revolved around his family who he loved so much.
He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Margaret (Carr) Ochoa whom he married February 9, 1985; four daughters, Nicole (Shawn) Devlin, Analee Young, Jessica Ochoa, and Sarah Franklin; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Connie) Ochoa, Jr., Kenneth (Dawn) Ochoa, and Arthur (Ronda) Ochoa; and four sisters, Renee (Steve) Craft, Betty Ochoa, Jaunine Ochoa, and Ashley Ochoa.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katie Carr.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Full Military Honors will be accorded to him by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29 at 1:50 P.M. on the front lawn of the funeral home. A cremation will follow the services.
The family requests that self-provided face masks be worn and social distancing be observed during the calling hours and funeral service.
