David E. Alexander, 53, of 3050 Fairview Road., Zanesville, Ohio, died early morning, Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at his residence. He was born August 24, 1950 in Zanesville the son of Billie E. And Ruth E. Fauley Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a former employee of the annealing department at Armco Steel in Zanesville, a very active member of the Jubilee Revival Center in Dresden, served as a drummer in the Praise and Worship Team and a communion steward. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a 8485 Neuropsychiatry Technician, and a 079 Medical Assistant. Surviving are his parents, Billie E. & Ruth E. Fauley Alexander of the home, two daughters, Shannon L. (Erin) Nezbeth of Nashport, and Brandyn R. (Casey) Ford of Hanover, one brother, Joe (Pam) Alexander of Huntsville, Al., five grandchildren, Christian, Logan, Kenzie, Kaitlyn, and Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his wife, N. Elaine Alexander, Dec. 8, 1992, and one sister Randi Alexander. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2004, at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at the funeral home with the Pastors Melody & Mike Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
