David D. Harney

David D. Harney, 60, of Dresden, died at 8:20 P.M. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. He was born June 28, 1961, a son of the late Lewis Lee and Gladys I. Grimes Harney. David loved the outdoors, nature, his flannel shirts, hunting, fishing, camping, taking long walks, hiking and throughout his life was a self-employed handyman.

He is survived by his loving fiancé, Brenda Smythe; two sons, Brandon (Jericah) Harney and Eric (Nikki) Harney; a brother, Donald (Katy) Harney; a sister, Lynn (Paul) Murphy; and thirteen grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Marvin and Mike; and four sisters, Carol, Jane, Debbie and Irene.

A cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with no calling hours or services to be held.
