David Spinks

David Spinks, 62, of Springfield, died at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born June 25, 1948, in Zanesville, a son of the late Donald and Bertha L. Bagent Spinks. He was a licensed administrator in water and waste water treatment for over 40 years. He was also an avid sports fan. Surviving are four daughters, Sandra Spinks of Mount Sterling, Ohio, Terri Jo (Jeremy) Hutslar of Galloway, Ohio, Sabrina (Grant) Alvord of Hutto, Texas and Wendy Crittenden of Newark, Ohio; three sons, Kevin Spinks, Brent Spinks and Barry Spinks all of Zanesville; a sister, Donna Sue (Randy) Vandenbark of Springfield, Ohio; a very special nephew, Ronald Spinks, one niece, four other nephews and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald R. Spinks. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor John Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
