Deborah J. "Debbie" Miller, 57, of Zanesville, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1953, in Zanesville, a daughter of Hillis Jones and Barbara Miller Jones Hallowell. She was employed for 19 years as a bookkeeper for Mapleview Terrace Apartments and was Baptist by faith. Surviving are her father, Hillis (Marcia) Jones of Zanesville; her mother, Barbara (Glen) Hallowell of Zanesville; loving companion, John Erwine of Zanesville; four sisters, Bonnie (Glenn) Miller, Sherry (Steve) Smith, Teresa (Bill) Kettlewell and Susan (Kelly Devoll) Jones, all of Zanesville; two uncles and aunts; ten nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews and two on the way; maternal grandmother, Nona Miller of Zanesville; and a special cat, Taboo. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Jones; maternal grandfather, Corbitt Miller; and paternal grandparents, Verna Jones and Granville and Ann Jones. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, near Sonora.
