Debra A. Hatfield, 67, of Zanesville, died at 10:30 P.M. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 14, 1950 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late, John Jack Poppy and Patricia Nanny McCoid Pierce. She was a Special Education Aide at Maysville Local Schools for thirty seven years and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Debra loved children which was evident in the care that she gave each and every one of them. She is survived by her husband, Edwin E. Hatfield whom she married March 14, 1970; two daughters, Mary B. (Shane) Williams and Jackie L. Lane; a son, John C. (Amy) Hatfield; eleven grandchildren, Katie, Christopher, Andrew, Ann, Jonathan, Ted, Emily, Jessica, Isabella, Nathaniel and Mary Claire; and a cherished sister, Patty (Tom) Morrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Charles Pierce, Jr. Friends and family may call from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday May 30, 2018 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 144 North Fifth Street, Zanesville with Fr. Jan C.P. Sullivan as celebrant. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
