Delbert E. Maxwell, 81, of Zanesville, died at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at his home. He was born July 25, 1925, in Zanesville, a son of the late Earl Raymond and Hazel N. White Maxwell. Delbert retired after 42 years of service at Brockway Glass, was a World War II Army Veteran serving in the Battle of the Bulge and was a past owner of Zanesville Harley Davidson. Surviving are a daughter, Becky (Rusty) Robison of Westerville; a son, Myron (Kim) Maxwell of Zanesville; two granddaughters, Anita and Amanda Robison, both of Westerville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Faye Maxwell, who died December 30, 2005; four sisters, Irene Metz, Josephine Dranda, Evelyn Landis and Erma Maxwell and a brother, Bernard Maxwell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Rev. Joy French officiating. Burial with full military honors conducted by the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will be at Zanesville Memorial Park. Friends may call two hours prior to services.
