Delbert D. Stevens

Delbert D. Stevens, 63, of Zanesville, died at 8:55 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born April 1, 1942 in Zanesville to the late Denver and Wilsie (Norris) Stevens. He was a truck driver for the City of Zanesville Sanitation Department and was a member of the Church of God in Newark. Delbert enjoyed hunting ,fishing and people. Surviving are his wife, Beth E. Stevens, whom he married February 20, 1980; four sisters, Marie (Henry) Goins, Virginia Brown, Betty Jean Johnson, and Becky Stevens all of Zanesville; two brothers, Charles (Kathy) Stevens and Theodore "Teddy" (Connie) Stevens both of Zanesville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, Septemebr 19, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 20, 2005 with Pastor Roger Decker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
