Delores Dee) M. (Harris) Speakman

Delores M. (Dee Dee) Speakman, 88, of Zanesville, died at 6:05 P.M. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville. She was born November 23, 1928, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Landon and Mary Hopstatter Harris. She was a retired Bookkeeper and a member of Coburn United Methodist Church in which she was active in all church organizations. Dee Dee was a shawl ministry member in which she knitted shawls and took them to people in the hospital. She is survived by a son, Randy (Evelyn) Speakman; three grandchildren, Andrew Speakman of San Diego, CA, Geoffrey Speakman of Sacramento, CA, and Kristen Rawlings of Jacksonville, FL; four great-grandchildren, Dani, Jarrod, and Allie of Jacksonville FL, and Camilla of San Diego, CA; and a daughter-in-law, Kerry Speakman of Sacramento CA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford D. Speakman, Sr. who died in 1989; a son, Clifford Speakman, Jr.; four sisters, Virginia Wallace, Wava Foster, Opal Bennett, and June Warne; and a brother, Tom Harris. A Cremation-With-Care will take place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at COBURN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 3618 MAPLE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Justin Williams officiating.
