Dennis S. Guile, 92, of Roseville, died at 12:20 P.M. Thursday, August 22, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 25, 1921 in Dolgeville, NY, a son of the late Daniel and Amy Brace Guile. He graduated from Allentown Bible College, and was a minister for The Weslyan Church, serving thirteen congregations, and retired while serving The Cuzzart Weslyan Church. Surviving are five daughters, Carolyn (Paul) Sweet and Mildred E. Foster both of Plattsburgh, NY, Betty (Jim) Williams of Zanesville, Bonnie (Kester) McKinney of Frankfort, Indiana and Lillian McPherson of Roseville; a son, Dennis P. Guile of Marietta; fourteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a sister Charlotte Perkins of NY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Reba Lepper Guile who died June 5, 2012; two brothers Francis and William; and two sisters Bertha and Agnes. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2013, with Pastor Jim Williams officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Reba at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
