Dianna L. " Dee" Gillespie, 49, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at her home. She was born May 17, 1957, in Long Valley, New Jersey, a daughter of Donald (Eileen) Hoffler Sr. of Beachhaven, N.J. and Gladys Fostle Hoffler of Panther Valley, N.J. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 1979 and was a consultant for Pampered Chef Ltd. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she was active with all the church youth groups, a member of Southeast Ohio Symphony, Zanesville Memorial Concert Band, member of the Strings and Things, which played for several non-profit organizations. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, James E. Gillespie, whom she married July 2, 1989; two step-daughters, Kymberly Carder and Keeley (Steve) Herron, all of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Cory, Wes and Jessica; a brother; Donald (Judy) Hoffler of Parsippany, New Jersey; two sisters, Heidi ( John) Kalinowski of Hackettstown, New Jersey and Nancy ( Carl) Mase of Long Village, New Jersey; five nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Kevin, Rebecca, Richard and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial celebration of Dee's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Grace United Methodist Church.
