Dola L. Todd

Dola L. Todd, 88, went to be with her Lord and to join her husband, Chuck, on Friday, September 26, 2008 from her home in Zanesville. She was born November 4, 1919, the youngest daughter of Harley and Florence Leasure Paynter. She was a homemaker, neighbor, friend and a faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Sherry (Art) Hempfling, Sue Edwards, Sandy (Dean) Kelly, Jane (Bill) Harrier and Bill (Sis) Todd, all of Zanesville; grandchildren, Tammy (Pat) Hemmer, Marsha (Terry) Hutchinson, J.D. (Kim) Kelly, April (Kevin) Gutridge, Heather (Scott) Comstock, Toddie Edwards, Tracie (Mike) Hatfield, Tabby (Steve) Wollard, Angie (Shane) Rasor, Beth (Adam) Swope, Shaylyn (Chase) Tom, Greg Todd, Chris (Tammy) Todd, Trevor Todd and Julie (Andy) Zigo; great grandchildren, Matt Hemmer, Todd (Emily) Hemmer, Lindsey (Derek) Gee, Jared Kelly, Kendra, Julia and Lydia Gutridge, Gregory and Lance Comstock, Griffin and Kendyl Hatfield, Hope and Seth Wollard, Madison, Jaden and McKenzie Rasor, Hannah Swope, Ashlee, Beau, Jade and Marlie Todd, Colt Todd and Casey Zigo; brother-in-laws, Bill and Bob Todd of Zanesville; several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. In addition to her parents and husband, Chuck Todd, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Lynda and Dola Edwards; a son-in-law, Lou Edwards and two sisters, Louise Appleman and Pauline Hughes Cooper. Calling hours will be 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 S. 7th St., Zanesville with Rev. Larry Kudart officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
