Dollie K. Hann, 88, of Zanesville, died peacefully at the home of her daughter surrounded by family at 3:55 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009. She was born September 6, 1921, in Corbin, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Edward Monroe and Laura Anne Clouse Corn. She was a former co-owner, along with her husband George, of the George Hann Men's Clothing Shop. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church and was a United States Navy World War II Veteran. She enjoyed playing cards and crossword puzzles. She loved time spent with her daughter, grandson, great grandchildren and feline companion, "Honey". She was a longtime friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jane Irwin of Zanesville; a grandson, Charles (C.B.) Irwin and Heather Price of Pickerington; three great grandchildren, Zachary and Elizabeth Irwin and Bethany Price; and a sister, Lillian Tibbetts of Saugus, Massachusetts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hann, who died June 7, 1991; an infant daughter, Laura Kathleen Hann, who died November 16, 1949; two sisters; and seven brothers. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Ray C. Morrison Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. VFW George Selsam Post #1058 will hold full military rites at the graveside.
