Dolph McInturf, 90, of Xenia, died at 5:10 a.m. Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Greene Memorial Hospital emergency room in Xenia. He was born April 12, 1916 in Penn Twp. Morgan Co., Ohio, a son of the late John and Maude Niceswanger McInturf. He was a former Assistant Fire Chief for the Mc Connelsville Fire Department, a member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church in Zanesville, retired from Bragg's Appliance in McConnelsville, was a World War II Army Veteran , a member of Corinthian Masonic Lodge 111 F&AM and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 19 both of McConnelsville. Surviving are his loving wife, Eva Louise Llewellyn McInturf, whom he married October 12, 1947, of the home, a son, John Michael (Sandra) McInturf of Xenia, two grandchildren, Shawn Michael McInturf and Kristie Lynn McInturf, a brother, Davis McInturf of Stockport. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Neil, Curt, George, James and Kenneth McInturf and two sisters, Marjorie Janes and Marie McInturf. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006 with Rev. Clarence Dinnen officiating. Burial will follow at Pennsville Cemetery, Pennsville. Full military rites will be provided at the grave by the Morgan Co. Veteran Council. Corinthian Lodge 111 will hold masonic services at 5:45 pm Friday at the funeral home and the Order of Eastern Star will hold services at 6:00 pm.
