Donald L. "Donnie" Hittle, 51, of Zanesville, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday June 8, 2006 at his residence. He was born May 15, 1955, in Zanesville, a son of Roger Lee and Louanna Faith Browning Hittle of Zanesville. He retired as Plant Manager at Economy Linen, was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam, was a member of NRA , an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. Donnie was well known as "Mr. Fixit", a real handyman. Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife, Connie Sue Fisher Hittle, whom he married December 14, 1974, of the home, two daughters and a son-in-law, Heidi Ann Hittle of Zanesville and Heather Jane and Jarod A. Bush of Reynoldsburg, three brothers, Russell G. (Jeannie) Hittle of Mt. Carmel, TN., Jack A. (Lisa) Hittle and John E. Hittle both of Zanesville, a sister, Melinda S. (Gary) Parrill of Merritt Island, Fla., mother-in-law, Shirley Phillips of Zanesville, good friends, Bob McMullen of Ashland and Junior "Mouse" Muse of Zanesville and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Mary Hittle and Cecil and Rose Browning. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2006 with Rev. Dan Neville officiating. A caring cremation will follow the service. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the funeral home.
