Donald Lawler, 76, of Zanesville, died at 5:35 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born December 29, 1936, in New York, a son of the late Joseph and Edna Collett Lawler. He made his living as an Industrial Engineer, and he truly enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving are three sons, Don (Jana) Lawler of The Woodlands, TX, David (Diana) Lawler of Zanesville, and Daniel Lawler of Zanesville; two daughters, Nicole Lawler of CT, and Melissa Lawler of RI; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Joe (Hope) Lawler of Zanesville, and James (Sue) Lawler of Frazeysburg; a sister Patricia Wilson of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Sally Cannon. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
