Donald Moyer, of Zanesville. died at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Adams Lane Care Center. He was born in Zanesville, a son of the late William H. and Stella May McDonald Moyer. He was a retired shipping clerk where he worked in the equipment and supplies industry and was a United States Navy Korean Conflict Veteran. Surviving are three sons, Donald Moyer of Ocala, Florida, John Moyer of Panama and Roger Moyer of Byesville; a daughter, Carol Swank of Largo, Florida; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Ernest Moyer and William E. Moyer; and two sisters, Dorothy Veyon and Elizabeth Parks. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with the Rev. Joy French officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. VFW George Selsam Post #1058 will hold full military rites at the graveside.
