Donald S Wise

Donald S. Wise, 96, of Zanesville, died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Genesis Hospice- Morrison House. He was born December 11, 1909 in Hopewell Township, Ohio a son of the late Frank and M. Tealoula Smith Wise. He was a member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church, retired from Armco Steel with over 40 years of service, was a World War II Army Veteran and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are a daughter, Charee D. ( Robert) Maddux of Cincinnati, two grandchildren, Robert C. Maddux Jr. And Elizabeth (Gary) Maddux-Cooley both of Cincinnati, three great grandchildren, Alex, Matthew, and Joshua, two sisters, Jean L. Fedderson and Rea J. Wise both of Columbus, a nephew, Jerry (Vicki) Fedderson of Cleveland, two nieces, Teresa Fedderson and Chris (Jeff) Althouse both of Columbus. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby and Eloise Wise. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Rev. Charles Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Friends may call two hours prior to services. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the grave.
