Donna J. Stubbs

Donna Jean Cook Stubbs, 76, of Zanesville died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2005 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born April 25, 1929 in Barnesville to the late Dempsey and Frances Snyder Cook. Donna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are her husband, William M. Stubbs, whom she married August 12, 1948; two sons Bradley M. (Carolyn) Stubbs of Zanesville and Jeffrey W. (Amy) Stubbs of Hilton Head Island, SC; and two grandchildren, Erin E. Stubbs and Nathan B. Stubbs, both of Zanesville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dempsey Cook Jr. No calling hours will be observed. A caring cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.
