Dorcas Annabelle Kirkpatrick, 71, of Nashport, died at 7:05 P.M. on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her home. She was born December 17, 1942, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Samuel E. and Lena Katherine Ralph Binkley. She retired as a cook from the Muskingum County Home and was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Union Church. She loved to spend time in her garden, playing cards, and canning. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her life. Surviving are her husband William E. Kirkpatrick, whom she married September 23, 1966, of the home; two daughters Terie Mulcare of Nashport and Katherine Kirkpatrick of Nashport; a son Joseph Kirkpatrick of Buckeye Lake; nine grandchildren, Chad, Tiffany D., Tiffany M., Alaska, Trinity, John, Stacia, Amber, and Brylan; and eighteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, Charles, Bob, Lorren, Cecil, Benny, Jim, and Virgil; two sisters, Polly and Judy; and three grandchildren, Shannon, Shawn, and Shane. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, with Pastor Carol Hall officiating. She will be laid to rest at Poplar Fork Cemetery, Gratiot.
