Doris E. (Mautz) Lynn

Doris E. Lynn, 86, of Zanesville, died at 5:40 A.M. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Willow Haven Care Center, Zanesville. She was born November 15, 1927 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lena Cockins Mautz. Doris was a telephone operator for Ohio Bell Telephone Company. She also worked for Essex Wire and was a caregiver. Doris was a member of First Families of Ohio and Genealogy Society. Surviving are four daughters, Sherry (Bob) Swiger of Georgia, Nancy (Jeffrey) Maziar of Zanesville, Judy Dixon of Zanesville and Barbara Lynn of Zanesville; a son, David Lynn of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Leanne Maziar of Zanesville and Jeffrey (Juanita) Maziar of Chandlersville; six great grandchildren, Dalton, Jerika, Garrett, Dakota, Kiya and Zoey; a sister-in-law, Lavonne Mautz of Newark and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lynn, who died March 15, 1986; a brother, Gene Mautz; two sisters, Vivian Dixon and Violet Zink; and a son-in-law, David Dixon. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. till time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Rev. Herb Perry officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery beside her beloved husband, Elmer.
