Doris Louise Randolph Wood, 85, of Zanesville, died early Monday Morning at her residence. She was born May 31, 1920 in Roseville, the daughter of the late Roy M. And Zella Swingle Smith. Mrs. Wood was a member of the Rolling Plains United Methodist Church, a graduate of Lash High School and the Ohio Central Business College. She served as secretary to the Principal of the Zanesville High School for 16 one half years. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Lynne Crigger of Wytheville, VA., a son Craig Robert (Becky) Randolph of Zanesville, four grandchildren, Chad Crigger of Orlando FL., Clint (Mandy) Randolph, Brady (Nancy) Randolph and JC Randolph, all of Zanesville, Ohio. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert P. Randolph, who died in 1986 and her second husband Charles R. Wood, who died in 1996, by a sister, Bula Bolin and a infant brother Gerald Smith. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005 with the Rev. Brian Law and the Rev. Orlo Freshley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery near Roseville Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rolling Plains United Methodist Church.
