Dorothy Jane (Eppley) Allen

Dorothy Jane Allen, 96, of Zanesville went to be with the Lord when she passed away, at 3:05 PM Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born October 5, 1924 in Marion, Ohio, living most of her life in Zanesville, Ohio. Dorothy is a daughter of the late Bernard and Eulalia Gay Eppley. She was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughter, Marcia (Dale) Blosser and Dolores Moore; a son, Carlos Allen Jr; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and niece and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. Eppley and Bernard Eppley Jr; a sister, Edith Orwig.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM till time of service at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE WITH Mr. William Meaige officiating. Burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls, Ohio.

Per COVID 19 regulations, all attending the funeral will be required to wear a face mask or face covering as well as following social distancing guidelines.
