Dorothy L. (Brady) Dobbins

Dorothy L. Dobbins, 95, of Zanesville, died at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at her home. She was born July 29, 1917, in Belmont County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Nancy Nichelson Brady. She was a member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church and volunteered for 26 years at Bethesda Hospital. Surviving are two sons, Ronald (Kim) Dobbins of South Zanesville, and Larry Dobbins of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Penny Dobbins, Hayley Dobbins, and Ronald McClary, all of Zanesville; three great granddaughters; a great great grandson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene B. Dobbins, who died January 26, 1981; a brother; a sister Audrey Craig; a granddaughter Amy Kay Dobbins; a step-son Donald Dobbins; and two step-daughters, Ruby Briggs and Delores Kemp. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, was entrusted with all arrangements.
