Dorothy Mae Honesty, 90, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 12:43 p.m; Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born December 19, 1914, in Malta, the daughter of the late Herbert and Martha J. Mayle. Mrs. Honesty was a member of the Muskingum Valley Fishermans's Association. Surviving are her son, Wayne Honesty of Columbus, Ohio, three daughters, Sherril(Chester) Williams of Zanesville, Connie (Dr. Raymond) Watiker of Zanesville, and Janet(Charles) Young of Port Ritchey FL., two step-daughters, Jean (Era) Boone of Belpre , and Glenna (Sheldon) Smith of Zanesville, a brother, Lovell Mayle of Port Orange FL., and a sister, Bonnie (Glenn) Kennedy of Zanesville, fourteen Grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis A. Honesty, who died August 16, 1985 and by four brothers, Denver, Clifford, Dean and Vernett Mayle. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005 at the funeral home with Rev. Terry D. Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
