Dorothy J. (Thompson) Hurley

Dorothy J. Hurley, 62, of Zanesville, died at 11:25 P.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born March 29, 1953, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert Thompson and Ruth Parkinson Thompson Allton. She had worked for Bloomer Candy and was a die-hard Steelers fan! Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 19 years, Warren Hurley, of the home; son Troy (Nancy) Bailey of Queen City, AZ; brothers, Mitch (Trish) Thompson of Norfolk, VA, Mike (Joan) Thompson of York, PA, and Fred (Paula) Longstreth of Heath; sisters, Frances (Danny) Nutt of Howard, OH, and Martha (David) Bond of Vestel, NY; grandchildren, Marissa Bailey and Tory Cole, both of Queen City, AZ; father-in-law Robert Hurley; sisters-in-law Teresa "Peach" Bailey Coulcher and Anita Thompson; brother-in-law Ron Garvin; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Larry D. Thompson; and sister Marilyn Kay Garvin. No services will be held. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
